Candidates for a Streamlined Assessment need to be ordained clergy with a minimum of 5 years pastoral experience and have been pre-screened by an approved leader or representative of the sending adjudicatory.
Church Leader Inventory and Church Leader Spouse Inventory ©. 360° evaluation of 10 Church Leader Dimensions and 6 Church Spouse Dimensions.
Teamability: Teamability Assessment. Online tool to assess team coherence and team role
Sermon Review. Assessed for Delivery, Biblical Content and Gospel centrality.
Couple/Individual Interview. Marriage, parenting, finances, calling, spiritual life, and interpersonal issues.
Part One – Candidates take the CLI/CLSI online tool. Each must have 6 observers complete the online assessment instrument. Candidate will also take the online Teamability Instrument. Candidate will submit to GCN a link to a recent sermon.
Part Two - Once the reports are completed, GCN staff will interpret and prepare the interview
Part Three – Personal Interviews and Debrief.
Approximately two-hour online debrief with two GCN staff of the Instruments (CLI/CLSI and Teamability) and a family/personal interview to discuss Calling, Sermon review, Marriage and Children, Personal Spiritual life, Finances/Debt.
Candidates and Sending Adjudicatory staff receive an Executive Report that address all the strengths, concerns, Teamability Coherence, Role, along with comments on strengths and growth needs in areas of Church Planter Competencies. We will also provide Recommendations for the sending organization. GCN Assessor will conduct a personal debrief with the candidate and sending agent.
